Calcium unit converter calculator

Calcium unit conventer calculator

Due to the lack of standardization regarding activities related to laboratory work, conversion is required. It is for this purpose that the calcium unit converter calculator was introduced. Calcium unit calculator convert serum units from mg/dL to mmol/L and from mmol/L to mg/dL.

Calcium unit converter calculator – calculate it

To convert the units from mg/dL to mmol/L or vice versa, enter the concentration value in the appropriate field and select the unit. The calculator converts the calcium concentration.

The calculator below is used to convert calcium concentration between units: mg/dL and mmol/L.

Calcium unit converter – formulas

Below I present the formulas that allow you to calculate the calcium concentration yourself.

Convert calcium concentration from mg/dL to mmol/L formula:

mg/dL / 4.01 = mmol/L

Example: if we have serum calcium concentration of 5.5 mg/dL and want to get concentration in mmol/L; the value obtained should be divided by 4.01

5,5 [mg/dL] / 4,01 = 1,37 mmol/L

Convert calcium concentration from mmol / L to mg / dL formula:

mmol / L x 4.01 = mg / dL

Example: when we obtain a concentration of calcium in the urine of 2.5 mmol/L and want to convert it to mg/dL, then the result must be multiplied by 4.01

2,5 [mmol/L] x 4,01 = 10,02 mg/dL

Please feel free to use other calculators available on my website. I try to replenish their pool on a regular basis. If you are missing a calculator on the web – please contact me and I will try to fix it.
